World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

Item upgrading allows players to boost the gear score of an item level upgrade to 700 and add a final perk. Items can be upgraded by having them in inventory, and then taking them to the kiln.

Certain items can be upp'd for their unique stats (like a perfectly made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) and others, like weapons, do not change significantly after an upgrade and thus aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons
