WoW Upgrades - The item level Upgrade Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases item level by 3. Each upgrade also increases the random substatus.

Upgraded gear is generally more useful, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like eth Titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. However, the item used to upgrade items will be consumed for the duration of time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be used to create Enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended to visit the upgrader once every few weeks to keep your equipment up to date.

Upgrades will cost more depending on the item level, but they will always be cheaper than purchasing new gear. For instance upgrading a Benthic chest piece to ilvl 385 will cost 20 recycle points, while purchasing the same item from another player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are functional items that can be used to upgrade weapons tools, armor, and other accessories. They can be purchased by players through NPCs who sell upgrades to item owners for a variety of currencies. They are also available on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be applied to any tool, weapon or armor. button, which displays an image of the item at its next upgrade level if the player has sufficient materials.

This is especially relevant for rings and trinkets that fill multiple slots on the character that will be able to take advantage of the discount for all accounts when all of the slots are filled with top-quality gear.
