WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you an increase in certain statistics. Each upgrade increases item level by 3. Each upgrade also increases the random substatus.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless it is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like the eth Titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the necessity to roll for a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader mod upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any kind of armor or weapons. However, the item that is used for the upgrade will be consumed forever and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enhancements.

The upgrader is located in all major cities, and can be accessed at any time to upgrade your gear. It is recommended to visit the upgrader at least once every few weeks to keep your equipment up-to-date.

Upgrades will cost more, based on the item level, however they'll always be cheaper than purchasing new gear. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest up to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used for tools, armor, weapon, and accessory upgrades. They are purchased by players from NPCs that sell upgrades to items in exchange for a variety of currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists.
